A former teacher of English as a Second Language, Laureen uses her communication and education skills to get buyers quickly up to speed in an ever-changing market, helping ensure that they are thrilled with their purchase. Her knowledge of different coop boards and condo requirements has helped turn every one of her hopeful buyers into homeowners.
An extensive background in marketing helps Laureen market each home she represents beautifully, attracting buyers and gaining maximum exposure to contribute to a speedy sale and desirable closing price for her sellers.
"Your home is usually your biggest - and always your best - investment. Real estate is the best way to build wealth for the average person. The sooner you purchase, the sooner you start your journey to wealth," says Laureen. "From my first home to the apartment I own now, I have increased my wealth in real estate alone by 75 times over the years."
Clients return to her for help in buying their next property and refer her services to others. In addition to Manhattan apartments, Laureen connects buyers with high-end ocean front and golf resort homes in Florida and the Bahamas through Ginn Properties. She gets involved with the New York community through her volunteer work with New York Cares.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, after marrying, Laureen and her husband raised their three children in New Jersey. Once the kids were grown and out of the house, Laureen and her husband moved back into the city and now live in Columbus Circle, steps from Central Park. Their two daughters and their son all followed their mom's advice to "buy, not rent" and are all happy homeowners in Manhattan.
